The Cutera Excel V laser combines form and function so that physicians can enjoy using the system with an ergonomic, lightweight handpiece that offers several benefits during vascular laser treatment.


Unobstructed Views

One of the most advanced features of the Cutera Excel V handpiece is the unobstructed view of the treatment area.


  • Visibility: This design allows the physician to observe the immediate vessel response and adjust parameters as needed.

Contact Cooling

Even with this clear view, the handpiece still delivers continuous contact cooling for a combination of visibility and patient protection.


  • Protection: The handpiece's sapphire window provides continuous cooling before, during, and after the laser pulse to protect the epidermis.

Adjustable Spot Size

An unmatched range of spot sizes from 2 to 12 mm in 0.1 mm increments is available with just one handpiece.


  • Adjustability: Easy adjustment to the spot size can be made using buttons included on the handpiece, allowing the physician to precisely match the treatment area to the target vessel.

Treatment at a Distance

The handpiece is attached to the system console with an extra-long 3 meter robust fiber, allowing easy access to the patient without having to move the system.
